The new staff at Buffalo has hit the ground running since being hired several weeks ago. They have locked in three quality commitments from junior college players in the 2015 class, and all three should be able to step in immediately and make strong contributions. Two of the three Buffalo commits are ranked in the latest 2015 JucoRecruiting.com Top 100 Player Rankings, which will be updated again in June.

Buffalo has commitments from David Kadiri (6’8/F/South Plains College), Willie Connor (6’5/G/Odessa JC) and Blake Hamilton (6’6/G/Mt. San Antonio College). Kadiri is a long, athletic and ultra-active forward who hits the glass hard on both ends and is very mobile. He has an excellent motor and played for one of the top teams in the country at South Plains College. Kadiri had 13 points, 14 rebounds and 8 blocks in the NJCAA D1 National Championship Game.

Willie Connor is a big guard that can score the ball in a variety of ways. He was named First-Team All-Conference in one of the best junior college leagues in the country and averaged 16.7 ppg while shooting 51.7% from the field and 42.7% from the three-point line. Connor’s size and scoring ability should allow him to transition quickly to the next level.

Blake Hamilton, a 6’6 skilled three man, has excellent size on the perimeter and will create plenty of matchup problems. Hamilton has good length and gets to the rim off the dribble from the wing. He hits the glass on both ends and is excellent in transition. Hamilton is a high-level athlete who finishes above the rim and can score through contact. He also has the ability to knock down perimeter jumpers. Hamilton averaged 13.5 points and 7 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive 61.5% from the field this season.

Buffalo has done a nice job in a very short period of time and has locked in three players who complement each other well.
