Donovan Jackson, a 6'2 guard from Iowa Western CC, gave a verbal commitment to Iowa State tonight. He averaged 13.6 points per game as a freshman at IWCC while shooting 40% from the three point line. The left-handed guard has a good frame and is a knock-down shooter from the three point line. He will be able to stretch the floor at the next level. Jackson can defend multiple perimeter spots as well. 

Jackson had a strong showing this summer and had plenty of high major interest/offers, but chose Iowa State after taking an unofficial visit earlier this month. He said he felt it was the best fit for him and he felt very comfortable with the staff at Iowa State.
