Baylor has had plenty of success with JC transfers in the Scott Drew era, and they picked a commitment over the weekend from Indian Hills CC sophomore (2016) forward Nuni Omot. Omot is a skilled/mobile 6’9 small forward who transferred to Indian Hills from Concordia St. Paul. He averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds as a freshman at Concordia St. Paul before transferring out to Indiana Hills. Omot committed to Baylor while on his official visit and was also considering Colorado State, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, and Gonzaga. Omot took an official to Colorado State a few weeks ago.

Devocio Butler, a 6’5 wing at Hill College in Texas, committed to Colorado State while on an official visit. Butler helped guide Hill to an NJCAA National Tournament appearance last season while averaging 10 points and 4 rebounds per game.

Southeastern Louisiana picked up a commitment from Davon Hayes from Northeast Mississippi CC. Hayes, a 6'7 wing, transferred to Northeast Mississippi CC from Southern Miss.
