It was another busy week for coaches visiting JUCO’s across the country.  This week’s roundup includes Visits, Commits and more Tour info. 

• Utah State has offered Deangelo Isby (6'5, Wing, 2017) of Wabash Valley College (IL).  That is Deangelo’s 14th offer since the end of the July
• East LA CC small forward, Roderick Williams, will take an official visit to Utah September 23-25. VCU Head Coach, Will Wade, is planning on watching Williams work out today.
• Iowa St, Portland St, North Texas, UTEP, and New Mexico St stopped by Angelina JC (TX) this week
• West Virginia stopped by Northwest Florida State to see Jared Wilson-Frame (6’4, G, 2017)
• Wichita State, UAB, Houston, Southern Illinois, Murray State, East Carolina, and UT-Martin stopped by Three Rivers CC (MO) this week for workouts
• Cal St Fullerton, UTEP, Utah (HC Larry Krystkowiak), USC, Portland State, Portland, Cal St Bakersfield, Iowa State, Hawaii, Texas Tech & UNLV stopped by to see 2017 SF Roderick Williams of East LA College.  Portland offered Williams and also watched PG Chandler Redix
• Idaho State went by Casper College (WY) to watch 2017 G Deante Strickland
• Colorado State stopped by to watch 6-4 SG DJ Jarrett. Wyoming stopped by as well to watch workouts
• Wichita State, Washington State, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Oregon St, Georgia, West Virginia and LSU went to watch multiple prospects at Lee College
• Northern Colorado was in to see F Ibrahima Diagne of South Plains JC, New Mexico and New Mexico State was in to watch Alex Owens and Jordan Brangers, and Morehead State was in to see Grantham Gillard, Jerron Love, and Montell McRae
• UNC Charlotte, Utah State, Missouri State (HC Paul Lusk), North Dakota State (HC David Richman + Ast), Arkansas Little Rock, Northern Colorado, Middle Tennessee State, and Old Dominion stopped by NOC – Tonkawa.  UNC Charlotte offered both F Dwayne Brown and F Reggie Scurry. Utah State offered F Dwayne Brown
• Valpo, Eastern Illinois, and UMKC all stopped by Triton College today to see 2017 G Dante Thorpe. Green Bay (HC Linc Darner) stopped by and offered the guard
• Cal St Bakersfield stopped by Odessa JC (TX) to check on multiple prospects
• Cal St Bakersfield stopped by Midland College to check on multiple prospects
• UTEP, Murray State, East Tennessee State, Georgia, Georgia State, Arkansas, and UNC Greensboro stopped by Gordon State to see F Raynere Thornton.  Georgia offered the versatile forward. Kansas St (HC Bruce Webber) and Florida Gulf Coast will be in to see him on Monday
• Portland State was at Arizona Western JC to see 6'7 F Kwintin Williams
• Milwaukee and Drake stopped by workouts at Northeast CC (NE) to see Marty Hill (6'4, G, 2017)
• New Mexico, IPFW, Robert Morris, Mercer (HC Bob Hoffman), Akron (Keith Dambrot) & Southern Miss went by to see Mike Parks (6'10/2017) of SW Mississippi
• James Hawthorne (6’7, F, 2017) of SW Mississippi had all of the following schools stop by to see him: MTSU (HC Kermit Davis), Troy, Campbell, Southern Miss, Cal St Bakersfield, Nicholls State, UT Martin, Towson, Lamar and Southeastern Louisiana
• Cincinnati, Missouri State, UNC Wilmington, Portland State, Old Dominion, Northern Colorado, Jacksonville State, Valpo, Indiana State, Wright State, Louisiana Tech, and Arkansas State stopped by Mineral Area
• Texas A&M CC, Northern Arizona, Houston, and New Orleans stopped by Jacksonville College (TX)
• Missouri and Stephen F Austin stopped by New Mexico JC
• Colorado State visited Lamar CC (CO) to watch 6'6" SG Wayne Stewart workout
• IPFW stopped by Pearl River CC (MS) today to see SG Eli Arcement
• Auburn, UTEP, SE Lousiana, UNC Greensboro, Chattanooga, and Georgia State stopped by GA Highlands this past week
• Chicago State and UMKC have been to South Suburban College (IL) for Shakur Pinder. Chicago State offered the forward as well

• Southern Illinois stopped by Lewis & Clark CC (IL) to see 6'9 C Olawale Odofin and 6'7 F Luka Radosevic. Both big guys have 3 years to play after this 16-17 season

• Nicholls State and SEMO stopped by St Petersburg JC today to see G/F Jason Burnell
• Iowa State, Wichita State, Southern Miss, Asrkansas Little Rock, & Jacksonville State stopped by Miss Gulf Coast workouts to see 2017 G Davion Cole-Johnson
• Middle Tennessee State (HC Kermit Davis) was in to see 2017 F Harrison Curry at Pensacola State
• Louisiana Tech and Kansas State stopped by Shelton State CC (AL) for 2017 F/C Trenton Clayton this week for workouts. 
• Arkansas Little Rock, Southeastern Louisiana and Middle Tennessee State stopped by South Georgia Tech for workouts
• Winthrop and Longwood stopped by Palm Beach State this week
• Jacksonville State and UMKC have been in to see workouts at Connors State (OK)
• Middle Tennessee State, UMKC, UNC Charlotte, Washington State and UT Arlington have been to NOC -Enid (OK)
• Arkansas Little Rock stopped by Seminole State (OK)
• Missouri and Washington State stopped by Northeastern Oklahoma A&M to see 6’10 Gabriel Ferreira
• SC State, Western Carolina, UNC Greensboro, Cal Bakersfield stopped by Spartanburg Methodist last week
• High Point, Mercer, UNC Wilmington, and East Tennessee State stopped Cape Fear CC (NC)
• New Orleans stopped by Western Oklahoma State
• Jacksonville, FIU, Wichita St stopped by Florida SW State last week.
• Portland State, Idaho and Drake stopped by Iowa Western JC for workouts.  Portland State offered PG Donovan Walker
• Pitt, Troy (HC Phil Cunningham), Chattanooga (Matt McCall), Longwood (HC Jayson Gee), Florida Atlantic (HC Michael Curry), UNC Greensboro (HC Wes Miller), and Missouri State stopped by Eastern Florida State this week
• Oakland, Toledo, Youngstown State, Utah State, and Eastern Michigan stopped by Owens CC this week
• Idaho State and South Dakota State stopped by Cochise College (AZ)

 

There were two different JUCO tours that brought out a number of coaches:

• The Region 24 (IL) tour had 30 plus coaches from the following conferences stop by over the weekend: A-10, C-USA, Mountain West, Missouri Valley, Horizon, MAAC, OVC, Southern, Summit, Sun Belt, and WAC
• The Panhandle (FL) tour had 20 plus coaches from the following conferences stop by over the weekend: OVC, American, MEAC, Big 12, C-USA, Summit, Sun Belt, Horizon, Big South, A-Sun, Colonial, SWAC, Southland, ACC, Missouri Valley, and West Coast

There is another Panhandle Tour this weekend and has the same schedule of this past weekend.  There is also another FL JUCO/HS tour (East Coast Tour) this week (Sept 22nd – Sept 24th)
