NJCAA Top 25 Review: Teams 21-25

With the new NJCAA Poll coming out next week on December 5th, JucoRecruiting.com looks at the Top 25 teams and how they performed thru the first month of the 17-18 season and teams that will be considered in the next Poll.

21.  Spartanburg Methodist (3-4)

                Spartanburg is led by Freshman guard Tracus Chisholm who is averaging 12.8 points per game while shooting 47% from 3. 

                Next Game: Roane State on November 28th

22.  Arizona Western (5-4)          

                They beat #3 South Plains and have lost to #10 Southern Idaho.  They have 4 players averaging double figures: Soph G Dajuan Beard (11.6 ppg), Soph G Brandon McGhee (13.0 ppg), Soph G Daryl Adams (12.7 ppg), and Fr G Alfonso Plummer (14.9 ppg). 

                Next Game: South Mountain on November 29th

23.  McLennan (10-1)

                Their one loss was on the road at New Mexico.  They have 4 players scoring in double figures: Fr G Javen Hedgeman (13.2 ppg), Fr G Xaiver Armstead (14.1 ppg), Fr G Antoine Banks (11.9 ppg), and Soph F Jashawn Talton (13.1 ppg)

                Next Game: Fort Hood on November 30th

24.  Wabash Valley (4-2)

                Wabash Valley lost to #4 Vincennes 86-80 and Olney Central.  Sophomore G Tyresse Williford (SIU-Edwardsville) leads the team in scoring at 14.8 points per game while Sophomore F Austin Trice leads the team in rebounding at 12.7 rebounds per game. 

                Next Game: Lake Land College on November 29th

25.  Holmes (4-1)

                Holmes lost their first game of the year 87-75 to Copiah Lincoln but have won 4 straight.  They have 3 players averaging double figures: Soph G Mikkel Norment (11.6 ppg), Fr G/F Kassim Nicholson (12.0 ppg), and Fr F Winford Ross (10.0 ppg).

                Next Game: Arkansas Baptist on November 28th
