In July, the top JUCO prospects in the 2026 class headed to Atlanta for the All-American JUCO Showcase Invitational. Over the next few weeks, we will highlight some of the top performers who stood out among the nation's best.

These are in no particular order and will feature five players per article. Here's Part Two:

Noah Mendy | 6'7 Guard | Daytona State
Mendy is a rangy, athletic wing with a clean shooting stroke and true positional versatility. He’s a confident, efficient shot-maker from both mid-range and beyond the arc, showing a quick release and repeatable mechanics. Defensively, he offers switchability across the 2-through-4 spots, using length, lateral quickness, and physical strength to bother a variety of matchups. Coming off a strong summer, he’s shown steady year-over-year development and continues to trend upward as a two-way prospect. He holds offers from: Milwaukee, Bakersfield, Northridge, USC Upstate, and Louisiana Monroe.

Ryan Hunt | 7'0 Center | Eastern Arizona
Hunt is a mobile, big-bodied center with great timing as a rim protector, soft touch around the basket, and upside as a floor spacer. At 7 feet and 240 pounds, he uses his size and strength to anchor the paint, wall up without fouling, and deter shots both on-ball and from the weak side. Offensively, he’s a hard roller, willing passer, and improving back-to-basket scorer who is developing a clean, high-arcing perimeter shot. Hunt was impressive in July, catapulting his recruitment with offers from Maryland, Manhattan, Western Carolina, Bowling Green, and North Dakota.

Trashaun Combs-Pierce | 6'8 Forward | Independence CC
Combs-Pierce is a strong forward with the ability to score inside and stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting ability. He’s a force attacking downhill, finishing through contact, and has rapidly improved his frame since his freshman campaign. He can score as a roller or from isolation at the top of the key, and is capable of knocking down perimeter shots (shot 37% from three last season). He has picked up offers from: LaSalle, Omaha, UMKC, SEMO, Jacksonville, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Tarleton St, and Binghamton.

Yohandry Ortiz | 6'6 Wing | South Plains
Ortiz is an explosive, high-usage scorer with proven three-level scoring ability and a knack for generating paint touches. Coming off a standout freshman season at Miles CC (24 PPG, 5 RPG) before transferring to South Plains, he leverages a quick first step and athletic pop to beat defenders, finish through contact, and create separation on the perimeter. Defensively, his length and athleticism allow him to contest shots, rebound effectively, and initiate transition offense. Ortiz had a strong summer and will be battle-tested this season in one of the toughest regions in the country. He holds offers from: Arkansas State, Southern Utah, FAMU, and High Point.

Mason Blazer | 6'7 Wing | Florida Southwestern
Blazer is a skilled wing with size, length, and a versatile shooting profile. He transferred to Florida Southwestern after a strong freshman year at St. Pete CC, where he averaged 16 PPG and 4.3 RPG, and shot 45% from the field/35% from three. He can score off the catch and on the move while also showing the ability to handle the ball and attack closeouts. He moves well without the ball/reads and uses screens away from the ball, sees the floor in pick-and-roll situations, and contributes on the glass from the weak side. Blazer picked up offers from LaSalle, Quinnipiac, and USC Upstate while also receiving interest from programs from several other mid-major programs.
