Players To Watch This Sunday At Midwest Jamboree

The Midwest Jamboree takes place this Sunday (Oct 20) at the Southern Illinois Student Rec Center and features JUCO teams from IL, TN, IA, MO and IN. Several College Coaches, NBA Scouts, and JucoRecruiting.com will be in attendance. Jay Scrubb (Louisville) of John A Logan, Tyon Grant-Foster (Kansas) of Indian Hills, Sardaar Calhoun (Florida State) of Missouri West Plains and James Jordan (Kent State) of Triton are committed players that are fun to watch but below are several available 2020's that coaches will want to see this weekend:

6'6 Wing Kevin Osawe (Pictured Above) & 6'2 Shooting Guard Craig Porter of Vincennes University - Osawe was the National Tournament MVP last season. He averaged 11.5 ppg and 6.5 rpg while shooting 40% from 3 last season. Porter filled up the stat sheet as a freshman averaging 8.4 ppg, 6.2 rpg and 4.3 apg while also shooting 40% from 3. These two will be a tough duo all year long for opponents

6'1 Combo Guard Marcus Garrett of Wabash Valley - Garrett sat out 18-19 with an injury but was an explosive scorer in 17-18 where he averaged 16 ppg and 4.5 rpg while shooting 44% from 3. 

6'3 Point Guard Eric Boone & 6'8 Forward Trace Young of John A Logan - Boone has great size for the PG position and plays with motor. He averaged 12.1 ppg and 4.9 apg as a freshman at Tallahassee CC last season. Young is D1 Transfer from Wyoming. He is skilled lefty forward that can score from all over

6'10 Forward Maurice Calloo & 6'5 Shooting Guard Drake Jeffries of Indian Hills - Calloo is D1 Transfer from Oklahoma State and is one of most skilled forwards in the country. D2 Transfer Jeffries is one of the best shooters in the country

6'3 Guard Carlos Curtis & 6'6 Forward Austin Richie of Triton College - Both Curtis and Richie bring experience and playmaking to their team. Curtis is D1 Transfer from East Tennessee State and Richie is D1 Transfer from Northern Illinois 

6'7 Forward Michael Moshkovitz of Kankakee CC - The freshman Qualifier has drawn attention from coaches this preseason with his ability to play inside and out

5'10 Point Guard Jalen Moore of Olney Central College - Moore can really score it and create. He averaged 19.3 ppg and 7.9 apg in 18-19 while shooting 41% from 3. 

6'8 Forward Quentin Jones of Missouri West Plains - Jones has impressed this fall with his strength, athleticism, finishing and rebounding.
