Terence Lewis of New Mexico JC had one of the best Summer and Fall seasons in front of College Coaches. He impressed at summer showcase events and recently played well during preseason jamborees. At 6'7, Lewis is versatile forward that excels finishing around the rim and rebounding while also being one of the best defenders in the country.

As a freshman last season for FL Southwestern, Lewis averaged 9.4 ppg and 5.4 rpg (led the team) in only 15 mins a game. He shot an impressive 71.2% from the field. Expect more of the same from Lewis this season as he will play an important role for New Mexico JC. Also look for Lewis to attempt more 3's this season. His 3 point shooting looked good during the preseason.

Head Coach Luke Adams had this to say about Lewis "Terence Lewis is high IQ wing that can guard every position on the floor. Offensively he is extremely efficient. His shooting touch around the rim is elite. He is one of the best offensive rebounders in the country. Terence is always a great kid off the floor. He is always putting in the extra work academically. Terence is a winner on and off the floor."

Lewis has heard from several schools of late. He currently has offers from schools in the MAC, Southland, Summit, Ohio Valley, Sun Belt, WAC, Mountain West, Horizon and NEC. His recruitment will continue to heat up.
