Marcus Garrett will be one of the best scorers in JUCO this upcoming season. The 6'1 CG averaged 16 ppg, 4.5 rpg and 2.8 apg while shooting 44% from 3 in 17-18. He was prime for a great 2018-2019 season until an injury forced him to sit out the year. Garrett is back 100% now and looked great during the preseason jamborees. Garrett is a strong, tough guard that can play the PG or SG positions. He finishes at the rim and can shoot his jumper from anywhere.

Wabash Valley HC Mike Carpenter had this to say about Garrett "Marcus is without a doubt the most driven, dedicated player I've coached. His work ethic is tremendous, and he demands his teammates bring the same passion and toughness. Marcus has really changed his game since arriving at Wabash Valley. He was always a tenacious defender and good shooter, but not is a scoring threat from every level. Who knows what level is best for him, but wherever he signs, they will be getting a winner who is tough as nails."

Illinois Chicago, Louisiana Monroe, SIU-Edwardsville, Central Michigan, Bethune Cookman, Buffalo, Portland State, Nebraska Omaha, New Mexico State, Albany and Chicago State have all reach out to Garrett. Garret is focused on the season right now and ready to prove he is one of best scorers in all of JUCO.
