The Junior College regular season started on November 1. Every JUCO team has played multiple games so far. Here are some notable performers thru first two weeks of the season:
6’0 CG Demaree King of NOC Tonkawa is averaging 20.2 ppg, 4.4 apg, 3.6 rpg and 2.2 spg thru 5 games. His team is 5-0 and he is shooting 52.9% from the field and 40.4% from 3 (9.4 attempts per game)
6’2 CG Lance Erving of Chipola is averaging 15.8 ppg, 3.8 rpg and 2.8 apg for the #5 team in the country. The freshman and former LA Tech commit is shooting 42% from 3
6’7 F Nighael Ceaser of Collin County is averaging 20.7 ppg and 14 rpg while shooting 68.3% from the field. The Texas State commit has helped his team to a 4-0 start
5’9 PG Angelo Johnson of Central Florida is averaging 13 ppg, 4apg and 3.3 rpg. He is shooting a 71.4% form the field and 70% from 3. He is also a terrific defender and getting 3 steals a game
6’7 F Terence Lewis of New Mexico is averaging 23 ppg, 10.7 rpg and 2.7 spg. He is shooting 56.8% from the field and has helping his team to 3-0 start and #18 ranking in latest poll
6’4 CG Dante Moses of Daytona State is averaging 19.6 ppg, 7.4 rpg and 2.6 apg for the #15 team in the country. He has helped his team to 4-1 record (1 loss coming to #11 USC Salkehatchie)
6’5 SG Miles Coleman of Indian River State is averaging 19.8 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 5.8 apg and 3.3 spg. He is shooting 40% from 3 and has helped his team to a 3-1 start
6’5 Wing DeAndre Gholston of Tallahassee is averaging 18.7 ppg and 5.3 rpg for the #8 team in the country. The transfer from Kent State is shooting 66.7% from the field, 50% from 3 and helped his team to a 4-0 start
