Undefeated Teams

#3 Peal River CC is currently 14-0 and plays tonight against Meridian CC (7-8). Pearl River is led by 6’2 PG Tae Hardy (17.8 ppg), St Johns commit Isiah Moore (15.4 ppg, 8.5 rpg), Tulsa commit Rodgerick Brown (12.2 ppg, 7 rpg) and 6’3 G Kelvin Allen (11.1 ppg). They have 8 more games before the Mississippi State Tourney and Region Tourney.

#16 Caldwell Tech is currently 20-0 and plays USC Salkehatchie (16-4) this Saturday in a huge region game. Caldwell Tech is led by 6’5 G Lloyd Hemming (16.4 ppg) and are averaging 102.2 ppg.

They play Gillete College (19-2) Wednesday on the road.

#24 GA Highlands (16-4) has won 13 in a row and are undefeated in Region/Conference play. They are led by Eastern Kentucky commit Trevin Wade (18.8 ppg), 5’10 G Carl Johnson (15.2 ppg), 6’5 G Caheim Brown (13.5 ppg) and 6’9 Fr Langston Wilson (11.2 ppg). They have big home game against Central GA Tech (13-8) this Wednesday.

#15 Moberly Area (19-4) has won 9 in a row after losing to #18 Triton back in December. They are led by 6’4 G Eddie Creal (15.9 ppg), 6’5 Fr G Cortez Mosley (14.6 ppg), 6’4 G Markelo Sullivan (14.3 ppg), 6’3 Fr G Tyrek Chambers (12.7 ppg) and 5’10 Fr G Dezmond Jones (11.3 ppg). They still have big matchup against #3 Mineral Area and #5 Indian Hills.

Indian River (16-6) has won 12 in a row and are undefeated in the Southern Conference. They are led by 6’5 G Miles Coleman (18.9 ppg), 6’1 Fr Qualifier G Tanahj Pettway (13.8 ppg), FAMU commit Jai Clark (11.8 ppg) and 6’8 F Drew Lamont (11.8 ppg)

Wallace Selma (20-2) has won 11 in a row after losing back to back games in late November. They are led by 6’4 G Antonio Jones (15.9 ppg), 6’4 G Travarus Carroll (15.5 ppg) and 6’2 Fr G Rodney Battle (14.8 ppg).

#21 Murray State (16-3) has won 8 in a row. They have only lost to #1 Ranger (2x) and Hutchinson CC. Murray State does it by committee with 10 guys playing at least 16 mins/game. They play Connors State (16-5) tonight and still play #12 NOC-Tonkawa again.

There is big game in Region 4 on Thursday night. #18 Triton (18-4) plays Highland (15-5) and both have won 8 in a row. Triton could be at 9 wins in a row by that time after their game against Harper College Wednesday.
