Junior College players are always a great option for 4 Year coaches. There will be over 300 JUCO players that sign with 4 year programs this year. JUCO players can be more attractive options than HS recruits because of the experience they can bring having played 1 or 2 years against tougher competition. Division 1 basketball is very physical and fast paced and JUCO players are often better prepared to play right away. Sometimes JUCO players can make an immediate impact with their production but there is still a learning curve for most. JUCO players have to get use to new systems and playing with new teammates.
