Demaree King is left handed PG with great shooting ability and toughness. His shooting ability translates to almost any program. He helped his team to a 28-4 overall record this season, a top 10 ranking in the NJCAA D1 Poll, and At Large bid to the Hutch National Tournament.
As a freshman (17-18), he averaged 6.8 ppg and 1.2 apg. He sat out 18-19 with a medical redshirt. This season he averaged 19.5 ppg and 4.7 apg while shooting 46.2% from 3. He was 2nd nationally in made 3's with 120 and 2nd nationally in made 3's per game at 3.9. He will have chance to be NJCAA All American.
NOC Tonkawa HC Donnie Jackson had this to say about King - "Demaree is a quick playmaking guard with exceptional three point range. He is very efficient offensively and has a high basketball IQ. With the 3 point line moved back this past season, he should be a hot commodity this spring."
King currently has offers from Coastal Carolina and Idaho. He also had offer from Loyola Marymount before staff change. He is hearing from schools in the A-10, Sun Belt, Southland, Horizon, Big Sky and American.
