Couple of 2021 Forwards To Know: Kealen Allen (East LA) & Brian Washington (Navarro)

6’6 SF Kealen Allen of East LA College

Kealen Allen is skilled forward that can play inside and out. He is one of best post scorers in all of Junior College. He is a grown man around the basket. He can also step out and make plays on perimeter with his handle. He helped East LA to a 29-1 overall record this past season and led the team in scoring. He averaged 18.5 ppg and 9.3 rpg while shooting 67% from the field. He had a season high of 33 points (11-13 from field) against Mt San Antonio. He will be prime candidate next year for CALI Junior college Player of Year. He has offers already from TCU, Oregon State and Washington State. He has interest from Arizona, Rutgers, LSU, San Diego State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Arizona State and Memphis. Allen will be heavily recruited all year from HM and MM+ programs.

6’8 PF Brian Washington of Navarro College

Brian Washington is extremely athletic forward (41 inch vertical) that finishes everything at the rim and is one of best passers in all of Junior College. Washington is quick off the floor and rebounds at a high level. Washington can be under looked at times with Navarro College bringing back one of the best front courts that also include 6’9 Akol Mawein (UC Riverside) and 7’0 Souleymane Doumbia. As a freshman, Washington averaged 7.5 ppg and 9 rpg (led the team) while shooting 69% from the floor. He has recent offer from UAB and has heard from Texas A&M, Arizona State and AR Little Rock. Washington has a unique combination of size, strength, athleticism and passing ability which will make him a hot commodity for MM and HM programs in 2021.
