JUCO Products To Watch in Second Year in NCAA - Part 2

Not every Junior College is able to produce right away at the NCAA level, there is a steep learning curve for all Junior College Players. Some players can figure it out faster than others. Here is a look at some JUCO guys that are going into their second year at NCAA level that should continue to excel for their programs

6’7 SF Kayne Henry of Jacksonville State – Former Northwest Florida Raider started to show his true potential during the 19-20 season. He averaged 10.9 ppg and 6.9 rpg in 25.3 mins/game. Henry is a likely starter and has the chance to be POY candidate in OVC

6’4 G Tyson Jolly of SMU – Jolly is a jack of all trades and was one of the hardest playing Junior College players (Trinity Valley CC) in the 2019 class. He averaged 14.5 ppg and 6.2 rpg while shooting 38% from 3 last season. He has been picked preseason 2nd Team All-Conference in the American for 20-21

6’7 G/F AJ Bramah of Robert Morris – Bramah (Sheridan College) excelled right away on both ends of the floor for Robert Morris in 19-20. Bramah averaged 13.4 ppg and 8.2 rpg while shooting 57% from the field. He had 20 rebounds in a game last season. He was named All NEC Second team. Robert Morris has moved to the Horizon League and expect Bramah’s production to continue. He was named preseason 2nd Team in the Horizon League

6’6 G/F Javonte Perkins of Saint Louis – Perkins (Southwestern Illinois) really came along in conference season last year for the Billikens. He averaged 15 ppg and 3.5 rpg last season and was voted 6th Man of the Year in the A-10. He was also 3rd Team All-Conference. He will be a candidate for POY in A-10 this upcoming season
