Xavier Dupree, a 6’9 forward out of Paris JC, has committed to Houston while on an official visit. Dupree already visited Nevada and had visits set up to LSU on September 18 and Ole Miss on September 26.

Dupree is very skilled for his size and is at his best when facing up on the perimeter and getting out in transition. He has the ability to stretch the floor and knock down threes, which creates match-up problems. He runs the floor very well and is fluid on both ends. Dupree has plenty of upside and is a very good athlete with good length. He can defend multiple positions with his size, length and mobility. Dupree was impressive this summer at the All American JUCO Showcase Elite 80 camp in Las Vegas, NV.

This is another very good 2015 JUCO addition for Kelvin Sampson and Houston, who brought in an excellent JC group in the 2014 class after taking over the program.
