Arizona State brought in a very strong 2014 JC class and it looks as if they are planning on bringing in multiple 2015 JUCO prospects as well. ASU already has a commitment from Andre Spight of South Plains, who is one of the top JC guards in the country.

Tanskley Efianayi, a 6’5 3 man out of Daytona State, and Deshawn Freeman, a 6’7 four man out of Hutchinson CC, have both set official visits to Arizona State from September 25-27. Efianayai and Freeman are two of the most sought after 2015 JUCO prospects at their respective positions.

Efianayi is a wing with a frame built for the next level. He is extremely strong and uses it well on both ends. He has a very good understanding of the game and should transition well to the next level. He is a good athlete who is skilled, knows how to score with our without the ball. Last year he averaged 15.7 points and 6.4 rebounds while shooting 48.5% from the field and nearly 31% from the three point line. Efianayi does a good job of rebounding the ball on both ends. He also plans on visiting St. John’s, but has not finalized a date yet.

Freeman is forward who has the skill and ability to step away from the basket and attack off the dribble. He is also very good in the low and mid post. Due to his ability to go inside and out, he creates matchup problems for opposing players. He is a good athlete and a very good rebounder who has good timing when the ball is coming off the rim. Last season he averaged 16.4 points and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 56% from the field.

Arizona State also has Jordan Washington coming for a visit from September 5-7. He is a 6’8 forward out of Indian Hills and is one of the strongest and most aggressive low post players in the country. Washington is a bull around the rim and brings maximum effort on both ends in the paint.
