Several JUCO transfers have made a huge impact this season at the D1 level. Here is a look at a few who played very well all season and have turned it up during conference play.

Cleanthony Early: Early was our #2 rated JUCO player in the country last season and many questioned that because he came from a D3 JUCO. Early has proved that it doesn’t make a bit of difference what level you come from and has had no trouble with the transition. Early led Wichita State with 39 points in a comeback victory over Southern Illinois. Early is in his first year at Wichita after transferring from Sullivan County CC. He is averaging 15 ppg and 5.3 rpg this season for the Shockers while shooting 49% from the field. Early and the Shockers are 15-1 and are ranked #23 in the Top 25 AP poll.

Marshall Henderson: Henderson led South Plains College to an NJCAA D1 National Championship and a perfect 36-0 record last season after transferring in from Utah. Henderson is a free spirit who is known for his high energy play and his ability to completely erase his last shot from his memory and be ready to launch the next one. Henderson has what most shooters dream of: the ability to forget the last shot. He is leading the SEC in scoring at 19.1 points per game at Ole Miss and had 32 in a twenty point win over Tennessee on Wednesday. Ole Miss is 12-2 and in the mix for an NCAA tourney bid according to many experts. Henderson and Ole Miss host Missouri this Saturday.
