As we approach the signing period, junior college players across the country who haven’t committed are taking visits and narrowing down their lists. Here is a look at the latest junior college recruiting news:

Fabyon Harris of the College of Southern Idaho will take a visit to Texas A & M. Harris, who is a 5’10 point guard out of Chicago, IL, averaged 17 points, 5 rebound and 3 assists per game this season and led CSI to the NJCAA National Tournament. This will be Harris’ second official visit of the season, the first was to UAB in December. UAB is out of the picture now after a coaching change. Harris has a handful of high majors who are pursuing him.

Nick Wiggins of Wabash Valley CC will head to Wichita State on an official visit with Greg Marshall and the Shockers. Wiggins averaged 17 points and 4 rebounds per game this season. Like Harris, Wiggins was able to take his team to the NJCAA D1 National Tournament as well. Along with the Wichita visit/offer, Wiggins has offers from Oregon State and Baylor. He also has interest from Oregon and an increasing number of other high majors.

DeSean Anderson of LA Trade Tech will take an official visit to Iona this weekend. Anderson is a 6’8 guard/forward who is very skilled for his size. He runs the floor well and can shoot the ball out to 18 feet. Anderson gets off the floor and is more comfortable facing the basket and getting to the rim.

Here’s a look at some of the latest commitments:

Rafriel Guthrie of College of Southern Idaho gave a verbal commitment to Towson (first reported by Evan Daniels of Scout.com).

Wyoming picked up a commitment from Nathan Sobey of Cochise College (first reported by Josh Gershon of Scout.com).
