Coty Clarke of Lawson State CC gave Arkansas a commitment after taking his visit on Tuesday. Clarke, a 6-7/225 pound forward, rebounds the ball extremely well and is skilled on the offensive end. He has the ability drag bigger defenders out on the perimeter and get by them and can post up smaller defenders and score with his back to the basket. He will be a very good fit in Arkansas’ system. He runs well, can score in transition and can defend multiple positions. Clarke has steadily improved and added new pieces to his game with the guidance of head coach Phil Shumpert during his time at Lawson State.Clarke averaged 16 points and 13.7 rebounds per game this season. He was second in the NJCAA in rebounds per game this season.
