The latest junior college rankings have been released for NJCAA D1, D2, D3 and California JC’s (CCCAA). The NWAACC (Washington/Oregon) has not released an updated poll lately. Here is a breakdown of those rankings. Each set of rankings can be seen below in full.

There are still seven undefeated teams left in all of junior college basketball. Those teams are Hutchinson CC (NJCAA D1), Vincennes (NJCAA D1), Spartanburg Methodist (NJCAA D1), Louisburg (NJCAA D2), Beaver County (NJCAA D2), Brookdale College (NJCAA D3), and City College of San Francisco (CCCAA).

The top three teams in the NJCAA D1 poll remained the same. Hutchinson CC (22-0) is number one again, Vincennes (20-0) is still sitting at number two and Spartanburg Methodist (21-0) stayed at number three. Coffeyville (19-1/#4) and Iowa Western (22-1/#5) round out the top five. The College of Central Florida made the biggest jump this week going from #17 to #7. Palm Beach State dropped from #5 to #14, which was one of the biggest drops for a team that is still in the top 25, this was after winning all three games since the last poll. Make sense? Yeah, I don’t get it either. A very talented Indian Hills team, who is sitting on spot out of the top 5 at #6, has been playing very well lately and is looking to make a run into the national tournament.

Louisburg (NC), who is now 20-0, is still sitting in the top spot in the latest NJCAA D2 poll. Defending D2 national champ Mott CC (MI) is sitting at number 2 at 18-1. Beaver County CC, the only other undefeated team at the NJCAA D2 level, checks in at number 3 again this week.

Brookdale CC is the only undefeated team at the NJCAA D3 level and they hold down the top spot again this week.

On the west coast, City College of San Francisco is the only undefeated team in the state. They are led by Delon Wright who is headed to the University of Utah. They are ranked number one in the latest CCCAA (California Community College Athletic Association) poll and have a big game on Friday against #3 Foothills College. Saddleback (#2), Mt. San Antonio (#4) and Santa Rosa (#5) round out the top 5.
