NJCAA D2 National Tournament Field Set

The sixteen district championships are complete and the field is set for the NJCAA D2 Championship in Danville, IL on March 19-23.  Defending national champ Mott CC will be back to defend their title and are viewed by many as the favorite to repeat. Mott features one of the best players at the NJCAA D2 level in Fred Mattison, who averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds per game this season. Louisburg CC, who finished ranked #1 in the country in the final NJCAA D2 poll, is in the field and will be looking to make a run. Owens CC has qualified as well and features heavily recruited forward James Kelly.
