Darius Carter, a 6-7 forward at Vincennes University, has a group of schools chasing him who would love his services next season. Carter (2013 class) and Vincennes are 31-2 heading into the NJCAA D1 National Tournament next week in Hutchinson, KS under the guidance of head coach Todd Franklin.

Carter, a native of Akron, OH, is a versatile four man who can score in the low post or step away from the basket and make mid range jumpers. He creates match-up problems for bigger/slower post defenders because he has the ability to face up and attack off the dribble as well.

Carter is averaging 15.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game while shooting 54.1% from the field this season.

Many players pick up more offers/interest after playing in the National Tournament, so Carter will most likely have more schools to sift through after next week.

Here is a look at Darius Carter’s list in no particular order: Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Wichita State, Nevada, Western Kentucky, Bradley, Illinois State, Murray State, St. Bonaventure, Kent State, Southern Miss and SIU.
