Ron Mvouika (6-5/G/2013) of Sheridan College (WY) has given a verbal commitment to Missouri State after taking an official visit over the weekend. Paul Lusk and the Bears are getting a good guard who will help them out next season in a variety of ways. Mvouika, who is originally from France, spent time at prep powerhouse Huntington Prep in West Virginia before heading to Sheridan. He is a 6-5 guard who can mix it up offensively and defend multiple positions on the defensive end. He rebounds the ball very well from the perimeter and is skilled enough with the ball to initiate transition offense.
Mvouika averaged 19.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this season while shooting 48% from the field and 38% from the three point line. He will sign with Missouri State during the April signing period.
