There is plenty of talent left on the board in the 2013 junior college class, and many of them are taking visits this weekend.  Here is a look at the latest junior college recruiting news.

Jamal Jones (6-8/G) of Lee College is currently on an official visit at Arkansas. Jones is a smooth/skilled wing who can score the ball in a variety of ways. He plays above the rim and can shoot the ball out to 23 feet. Jones, a Searcy, Arkansas native, has also been considering Oregon, San Diego State, TCU and Texas A & M, but Arkansas seems to be the leader here.

Algie Key (6-4/G) of Barton County CC will visit Alabama this weekend. Key averaged 18 points per game this season at Barton and has the ability to get to the basket and the free throw line.  He was named an NJCAA D1 Third Team All-American.

Chris Griffin (6-7/G) of Wabash Valley CC will visit Auburn this weekend. Griffin recently de-committed from Rutgers after the Mike Rice catastrophe. If Rutgers decides on a coach in time, they could be in the mix with Griffin still.

Jospeh Uchebo (6-11/C) of Chipola College will visit Pitt this weekend. Uchebo averaged 13 points and 13 rebounds per game as a freshman last season and sat this year with an injury. Kansas State and Oklahoma state have inquired about Uchebo, but no offers/visits have been made.

Cameron Forte (6-6/F) of Howard College (TX) will take an official visit to Georgia this weekend. Forte is also considering Minnesota, Long Beach St., Colorado St. & Pitt.

Corey Allen (6-1/PG) of Mt. San Antonio College will take an official visit to South Florida this weekend. Allen was named Southern Cali JUCO Player of the Year. He helped lead Mt. San Antonio to a California JUCO State Championship.

Garrett Nevels (6-3/G), also from Mt. San Antonio College (CA), will take an official visit to Morehead State this weekend. Nevels averaged 19 points per game at Mt. SAC this season.

Arthur Edwards (6-7/G) of NW Florida State will take an official visit to New Mexico this weekend. Edwards played very well during NW Florida’s national tournament run.

Lucas Stivrins (6-11/C) of Pratt CC (KS) is currently on a visit to Nevada.

Deshawn Delaney (6-6/G) of Vincenens College will visit Bradley this weekend. Delaney will then visit Texas A & M and New Mexico.

Chris Blake (6-8/F) of Lee College will also visit Bradley this weekend.
