Three Lee College prospects in the 2015 class have been picking up plenty of interest lately. Lee consistently moves players on to the next level each season, and this year will be no different.

While all three players are in the 2015 class at Lee, all three are in their first year of playing junior college basketball. Ty Outlaw, a 6’6 wing, transferred to Lee from UNC Greensboro where he averaged 5.4 points and 2.1 rebounds as a freshman. Outlaw is currently averaging 23.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per game at Lee while shooting 55% from the field and 50.7% from three. Outlaw has recent interest from Tennessee, Marquette and WVU among others.

Shawn Smith, a 6’4 point guard, transferred to Lee from Texas A&M where he averaged 5.7 and 3.2 rebounds as a red-shirt freshman last season. Smith has heavy interest from South Florida, who will most likely offer soon. He also has recent interest from Marquette and Tennessee among others. Smith is averaging 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game this season.

Ahmed “Humday” Mohammed is a 6’9 forward who transferred to Lee from the University of Houston, where he red-shirted last season. Mohammed is currently averaging 17 points and 10.9 rebounds per game.  Mohammed has an offer from Tulsa and had Arkansas in to see him recently.
