Teyvon Myers, a 6’2 combo guard from Williston State, will take his first official visit to West Virginia tomorrow.  WVU has been out to see Williston multiple times this season and Bob Huggins watched him practice in mid February.

Myers also has a visit set with Louisville for April 12. Louisville assistants Mike Balado and Wyking Jones watched Myers on two different occasions in February. When Myers spoke to JucoRecruiting.com, he discussed what he was looking for in a school and who his leaders were. Louisville and WVU were both at the top of his list along with a few other suitors.

Myers led NJCAA D1 in scoring this year at 25 points per game and had a season high 55 points.  Williston State lost in their regional tournament, so their season is finished. Don’t expect Myers to wait too long after taking his visits to make a decision. Many JC prospects will commit quickly once their sophomore season is finished.
