Chris Boucher is one of the most skilled players for his size in recent memory at the JC level. He is a 6’10 four man who can stretch the floor with his ability to shoot the ball from the three-point line and handle the ball on the perimeter. Boucher, a Canadian prospect who played at New Mexico JC last year, had some big performances at the NJCAA D1 National Tournament in Hutchinson, KS.

Boucher averaged 22.5 points and 11.5 rebounds this season while shooting over 50% from the field and nearly 44% from the three-point line. In Hutchinson, Boucher had a triple double in a win over Cape Fear CC (29 points, 16 rebounds and 11 blocks) and followed that up with a 24-point/11-rebound performance in a 94-92 loss to eventual champ, NW Florida State.

Boucher is one of the best shot blockers in the country and averaged 4.7 blocks per game on the year. He is very thin and needs to add size/strength to handle the D1 level, but has a unique skill set to go along with his size and length.  He plans on narrowing down his list of schools and setting up dates for official visits by next week.

Here is a look at Boucher’s current offer list (This may change as new schools are reaching out to him daily since his performance at the National Tournament): Texas Tech, Arizona State, Washington State, Oregon, Baylor, Minnesota, Creighton, Wichita State, Seton Hall, Eastern Michigan, Wagner and Iona.
