Arlando Cook, a 6’8 forward out of Connors State (OK), has informed JucoRecruiting.com that he has reopened his recruitment and is no longer committed to Nevada. Cook took an official visit to Nevada this fall and committed shortly after that visit. He was one of the more heavily recruited prospects in the 2016 class and should see heavy traffic from a wide variety of mid and high major programs.

Cook is one of the top forwards in the 2016 JC class and had interest or offers from LSU, Kansas State, Arkansas, Memphis, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Missouri and many others. Obviously not all of these schools will jump back in the picture because they may have moved on and locked in other players, but it wouldn’t be surprising if many of them begin to re-recruit Cook. He will also have plenty of new suitors who will get involved and begin to recruit him.

Cook said he hasn’t decided yet if he will try to sign in November with another school or wait until April and take his time with the recruiting process. If he doesn’t have a school in mind that he is heavily interested in, then he will most likely sign in April since the singing period is only weeks away. Stay tuned for updates on Cook’s recruitment.
