Darrlyn Willis, a 6’9 forward out of Pearl River CC, has committed to Wichita State after considering multiple high major options. Willis is a lengthy and active four man who gets after it on the glass on both ends. He has a good motor and can score the ball around the rim. He is a good athlete who gets up and down in transition well and is explosive around the rim.

Willis narrowed his list of schools down to Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Marquette, Arizona State & Wichita State before committing to Wichita. He is currently averaging 16 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. Willis will be expected to contribute immediately next season.

Below is a highlight of Willis from high school
