Take a look at what junior college programs had D1 visitors in their gym

Starting on September 9th, college coaches were allowed get on the road to visit potential recruits.  It was a busy weekend for junior college programs across the country. Here’s a look at many of the four-year schools that were on the JC trail over the weekend.

  • Jacksonville State, Morehead State, SE Louisiana and SEMO all stopped by Gordon State (GA), 2017 F Raynere Thornton will continue to bring in coaches from all levels
  • New Mexico JC had coaches from Colorado State, Creighton, Texas Tech, Portland, St. Mary’s and New Mexico State watch workouts
  • Jacksonville State and NC A&T stopped by GA Highlands
  • GA Southern visited South GA Tech
  • SEMO, Morehead State, Jacksonville State all visited NOC-Tonkawa (OK) over the weekend
  • Washington State stopped by Lamar CC (CO) to watch 7'0 C Isaiah Martin (CO) and 6'6 SG Wayne Stewart (PA)
  • Utah, Portland (HC Terry Porter), Washington State & Nebraska all visited Casper (WY) to see 2017’s Colin Russell and Josh McSwiggan this weekend
  • Mercer stopped by Spartanburg Methodist (SC) today to see 2017 F AJ McGhee
  • Chattanooga stopped by Pensacola State (FL) to see 2017 F Harrison Curry
  • Colorado State, Stephen F Austin, New Mexico State and Texas Tech all stopped by South Plains JC (TX) to watch workouts, UL Monroe was in to see 2017 G Roberto Gallinat
  • Southern Illinois, Arkansas St, Georgia St and UMKC were all at John A Logan (IL)
  • UMKC stopped by Lake Land College (IL)
  • Arkansas State stopped by Olney Central (IL)
  • Texas Tech (HC Chris Beard) and Buffalo were at Gulf Coast State (FL) to see Jeremy Harris and Florida Atlantic (HC Michael Curry) to see 2018 G Tyler Byrd
  • Florida Atlantic stopped by Northwest Florida to watch workouts
  • Texas Tech, Utah State, SE Louisiana, Chattanooga all stopped by Chipola JC (FL)
  • Utah State stopped by Tallahassee CC (FL) to watch workouts
  • Valparaiso, Bowling Green, UT-San Antonio, Florida Gulf Coast, and Stony Brook all stopped by new NJCAA program Florida Southwestern
  • Portland State stopped by to see 2017 G Aaron Ray at Garden City CC (KS)
  • TCU was at Lee College (TX) to watch 2017 prospects Andre Pierce, Andre Edwards & D1 Transfer Kajon Brown. New Orleans in to watch Julian Powell.
  • UMBC, Towson, NC Central, and Coppin State all stopped by Baltimore City CC
  • SE Louisiana, Arkansas St, Western Illinois and St. Louis went by Mineral Area College (MO) to watch workouts
  • Arkansas St stopped by Vincennes University (IN)
  • Arkansas St and Southern Illinois stopped by Wabash Valley College (IL) to see 2017 G Deangelo Isby
  • Idado and Boise St stopped by College of Southern Idaho this weekend
  • UNC Greensboro was at St Petersburg JC (FL) to see D1 Transfer Jason Burnell
  • UT Martin, Northern Arizona, Campbell, and Chattanooga stopped by Southwest Tennessee JC this weekend
  • UT Martin and Jacksonville State stopped by Lawson State (AL) this weekend
  • SE Louisiana, SEMO, and Cal State Bakersfield stopped by Shelton State (AL)
  • MTSU, Troy, and FGCU stopped by SW Mississippi CC to see 2017 F James Hawthorne
  • Arkansas Little Rock, Campbell, and Southern Miss stopped by Jones Co JC (MS)
  • Xavier and Southern Miss visited Pearl River CC (MS) this weekend
  • Portland State stopped by State Fair CC (MO)
  • Louisiana Monroe went by Iowa Western JC to see 2017 G Donovan Walker
  • North Texas stopped in to watch workouts at Jacksonville College (TX)
  • Eastern Illinois stopped by South Suburban College (IL) to see 2017 F Shakur Pinder
  • New Mexico State visited Arizona Western JC to see 2017 F Kwintin Williams
  • Midland JC (TX) had Colorado State, East Carolina, New Mexico State, New Orleans, Iowa State, Creighton, and Cal Poly on campus for workouts
  • Eastern Michigan, IPFW, Bethune Cookman, and Rider went by Owens CC (OH) to watch workouts

 

  • Over 35 coaches from D1 and D2 went on a 3 school Florida Juco Tour on September 10th.  Coaches started at Daytona State, then Eastern Florida State, and finished the day up at Palm Beach State.  D1 Coaches from the following Conferences were on the Tour:  Big 12, OVC, C-USA, MEAC, Horizon, American, A-SUN, Sun Belt, Big South, Mountain West, Southland, NEC, SOCON, and MAC

There are two more Juco Tours coming up this weekend.  The Panhandle (FL) Juco Tour and Region 24 (IL) Tour.
