NJCAA Top 25 Review: Teams 11-15

With the new NJCAA Poll coming out next week on December 5th, JucoRecruiting.com looks at the Top 25 teams and how they performed thru the first month of the 17-18 season and teams that will be considered in the next Poll.

11.  Chipola (7-1)

                Chipola’s only loss came recently to College of Central Florida in 86-85 in OT.  They have 5 players averaging double digits: 6’2 Soph TJ Howard (11.3 ppg), 6’6 Soph CJ Williamson (10.3 ppg), 6’8 Soph Shamarkus Kennedy (12.6 ppg), 6’11 Soph Yuat Alok (13.1 ppg), and 6’3 Fr Keishawn Brewton (10.1 ppg).

                Next Game: Washington Academy on December 1st

12.  Panola (6-3)

                Panola has 3 losses including a loss to #7 Odessa 84-70.  They are led by Soph Wing Marlon Taylor (14.7 ppg), Soph G TJ Killings (10.8 ppg, Portland State) and Fr G Jeremy Roscoe (15.1 ppg).

                Next Game: Blinn on November 29th

13.  Tallahassee (8-0)

                Tallahassee has 5 players scoring in double digits: Soph Leon Freeman-Daniels (11.0 ppg), Soph Jacob Winston (11.9 ppg), Soph Quentin Jackson (11.7 ppg, Florida Gulf Coast), Soph Javien Williams (12.7 ppg, Louisiana Monroe), and Soph Corey Douglas (14.5 ppg, VCU).

                Next Game: Hillsborough on November 28th

14.  Coffeyville (8-1)

                Their only loss was to #1 Hutchinson on the road.  They are led by a trio of guards: Soph TJ Washington (16.6 ppg), Fr Marvin Johnson (13.0 ppg), and Rs-Fr Anthony Jones (10.4 ppg). 

                Next Game: Pratt on November 29th

15.  Florida Southwestern (8-0)

                Florida Southwestern has started 8-0 for the second year in a row.  Sophomore W Tremell Murphy leads the team with 16.8 points per game, Sophomore CG Tyler Cheese leads the team with 8 assists per game, and Fr F Tra’Von Fagan leads the team with 7.6 rebounds per game.
