Javion Hamlet is thriving down at #1 Northwest Florida. The 6'3 lefty PG has helped his team to a 9-0 start and is focused on improving everyday. Hamlet recently had 23 points and 10 assists in come from behind win against #15 Trinity Valley in OT.

Hamlet is currently averaging 18.7 points per game and 7.3 assists per game. His shooting percentages are quite impressive, shooting 68.2% from the field, 66.7% from 3 (1.7 attempts per game), and 86.4% (4.9 attempts per game) from the FT line.

Hamlet is a play making guard that can really get into the paint and create. He has a great touch on floaters and short jumpers when he gets by his defender. He does a great job of running the show and setting up his teammates.

Gonzaga, Temple and Loyola-Chicago are a few of the teams that have reached out to the efficient PG. He is open to all schools but is focused on having a great season with his teammates. Hamlet will take Official Visits after the season.  When asked about what he is looking for in a 4 year school, Hamlet had this to say "I want to go somewhere I'm going to come in and make an impact right away. I want to play for somebody that is going to push me on and off the court to make me better. I want to go somewhere that can develop me in to a player that will have professional opportunities after college."

Hamlet could be one of the best PG's available. Expect his recruitment to take off as the season continues.

You can see Hamlet and his Northwest Florida teammates this weekend against State Fair CC and #12 Indian Hills (Both games take place at Indian Hills).
