Demarkus Lampley is a traditional shooting guard that can make shots from all over the court and in a variety of ways. The 6'2 guard from Phenix City, AL has been a proven scorer since he stepped on campus at Wallace State as a freshman. He averaged 18.3 ppg while shooting 36.8% from 3 in 15 games as a freshman (had injury that kept him out half of season).

This season, he is averaging 25.3 ppg while shooting 41% from 3 (8.2 attempts per game). He has made at least one 3 in every game this season and has hit seven 3's multiple times this season. What sets Demarkus apart from other shooters is his ability to catch and shoot coming off screens. He is great moving without the ball and has range on his jumper. Wallace State is currently 19-5 (7-1 conference record).

Lampley has recent offers from Mercer, Portland State, and Mississippi Valley State. Expect Lampley's recruitment to heat up quickly as every NCAA school is looking for shot makers that could come in right away to help a team.
