Gulf Coast State PG Trent Lincoln has shut down his recruitment and chosen TCU over Kansas, Oregon, Kansas State, and a slew of other programs. Lincoln made a massive jump from his freshman year to his sophomore campaign at the JUCO level, rapidly improving his strength, athleticism, decision making, and distribution. He has guided Gulf Coast State to a Top 10 ranking for the majority of the season and is averaging 19.7 PPG, 6.1 APG, 4.3 RPG, and 2.0 SPG. Gulf Coast State is currently ranked No. 7 in NJCAA Division I and sits at 19–3 on the season.

Lincoln has separated himself as the top JUCO prospect in the 2026 class, playing with poise, control, and maturity on both ends of the floor. He is trusted to shoulder the scoring load while also functioning as one of the nation’s most effective distributors. The 6'3" left-handed guard consistently pressures the defense by attacking the rim, shooting the three with deep range, and making high-level reads offensively. He owns an explosive first step, finishes through contact, and uses his body, anticipation, and quick hands to impact the game defensively.

Lincoln took official visits to Kansas and TCU before choosing the Horned Frogs. This marks back-to-back years that TCU has landed the top JUCO prospect in the nation. Last season, Xavier Edmonds was ranked No. 1 in our 2025 JUCO Top 100 and has made an immediate impact at TCU, averaging 12.0 PPG and 5.3 RPG while shooting 58 percent from the field.
