2026 Gulf Coast State College PG Trent Lincoln will take official visits to Kansas and TCU this week following a stellar start to his sophomore season. Lincoln began his JUCO career at Chipola, where he produced a strong freshman campaign before transferring to Gulf Coast State to play under head coach Lane Below. He emerged as one of the top prospects at July’s All-American JUCO Showcase, where the nation’s top 2026 JUCO prospects competed head-to-head during the July live recruiting period. Lincoln earned Top 20 All-Star Game honors at the event.
Kansas December 16-17
TCU December 18-20
Gulf Coast State has opened the season 14–1 and is currently ranked No. 6 in the country, with Lincoln’s impact clearly driving that success. He is averaging 20.0 points, 6.6 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game. Those numbers place him among the top 30 scorers nationally and No. 4 in the country in assists per game.
Lincoln has separated himself as the top JUCO prospect in the 2026 class, playing with poise, control, and maturity on both ends of the floor. He is trusted to shoulder the scoring load while also functioning as one of the nation’s most effective distributors. The 6'3" left-handed guard consistently pressures the defense by attacking the rim, shooting the three with deep range, and making high-level reads offensively. He owns an explosive first step, finishes through contact, and uses his body, anticipation, and quick hands to impact the game defensively.
