Player To Know: PG Malik Zachery of Chipola College

Malik Zachery was ready to have another great year for Chipola College until a hand injury caused him to sit out majority of the year. He has now fully cleared and will have 3 years to play at the NCAA level. Zachery is a tough, high IQ guard that makes winning plays and can run the show. He has great midrange jumper and one of the most confident players on the court. 

As a freshman, he averaged 8.5 ppg, 5.8 apg & 3.9 rpg while helping his team to a 27-5 overall record and Top 25 ranking. 

Zachery has been hearing from the following schools: Sam Houston St, Buffalo, McNeese St, Eastern Michigan, Fresno St and Nebraska. Ole Miss, Nevada, MTSU and California are the latest to reach out.
