JucoRecruiting.com #1 & #2 Face Off

This week, our Top 100 #1 6'10 Malique Ewen (South Plains) battled #2 6'10 Jeremiah Cherry (New Mexico JC) on Thursday in Levelland, TX. The Region 5 battle was won by the Texans, with Ewen dominating from start to finish. He tallied 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists in the 85-76 win. Cherry, a UNLV signee, finished with 10 points and 5 rebounds. We could likely see a rematch between the two as both teams are top contenders in the league standings. The Region 5 tournament will take place March 14-16 at Weatherford College, in Weatherford, TX.
