JUCO Products To Watch in Second Year in NCAA - Part 4

Not every Junior College is able to produce right away at the NCAA level, there is a steep learning curve for all Junior College Players. Some players can figure it out faster than others. Here is a look at some JUCO guys that are going into their second year at NCAA level that should continue to excel for their programs

 6’3 G Isaac Bonton of Washington State – Bonton (Casper College) made an immediate impact for Washington State last season. He averaged 15.3 ppg, 4 apg and 3.7 rpg last season. He scored in double digits 25 times for the Cougars.

6’2 G Michael Nuga of Kent State – The JUCO Product from Eastern Florida State led Portland State in scoring in 18-19 (10.5 ppg) and sat out 19-20 when he transferred to Kent State. Nuga has deep range on his jumper and will be expected to produce for Kent State this upcoming season

6’2 PG Malik Curry of Old Dominion – Curry is another JUCO product that came along during the conference season and started to perform at a high level. The Palm Beach State Alum led his team in scoring (13.4 ppg) and assists (4 apg) last season. Expected Curry to improve on both of those numbers this upcoming season

6'6 G Tremell Murphy of Drake - Murphy made an immediate impact on both ends of the floor for Drake in 18-19 after 2 years at Florida Southwestern. He averaged 10.4 ppg and 6 rpg that season. After sitting out last season, Murphy will be expected to bring his experience, versatility and athleticism every night for the Bulldogs
