The 2021 NBA Summer League is now complete after a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19. There were plenty of former JUCO transfers who played in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, NV this year, and we have listed 10 of the top performers below. Some of these players are currently on NBA contracts, while others have used the Summer League as an opportunity to hopefully secure a roster spot, a two-way contract, Exhibit 10, etc.
Chris Duarte (Pictured/Photo Credit: Getty Images), who was the 13th pick in the 2021 NBA draft, had an excellent showing and averaged 18.5 ppg, 4 rpg, and 3.5 apg. The 2019 NJCAA National Player of the Year, and #1 ranked player in the 2019 JucoRecruiting Top 100 Rankings, was one of the top overall performers in the Summer League. The former NW Florida State/Univ. of Oregon guard showed why he has the potential to be an immediate impact player for the Pacers during the 21-22 NBA season.
