Dequon Miller, a 5’11 point guard at Motlow State, will take an unofficial visit to Tennessee on Wednesday of next week. Miller was heavily recruited during the second half of last season and that has continued into the spring. The new staff at Tennessee recently offered Miller and is in hot pursuit of him along with plenty of other schools.

Miller is a quick point guard who has the ability to score and distribute the ball equally well. He averaged 20 points and 7.2 assists per game last season. Miller told JucoRecruiting.com that he is looking for a program that fast paced offense, a great coaching staff and is looking for a school where he knows he will continue to develop as a player.

Miller has the most interest from Tennessee, NC State, Missouri, Arizona State and Memphis at the moment. His interest will continue to grow throughout the July live recruiting period, which is when most rising JC sophomores pick up loads of offers. Miller will play in both theAll American JUCO Showcase Elite 80 East (Augusta, GA Jul 19-20) and Elite 80 West (Las Vegas, NV July 26-27). He plans on taking his official visits in August and signing in the November signing period.
