Chris Jones, a 5-10 point guard out of NW Florida State, committed to Louisville after taking a visit last weekend. Jones has already taken visits to Baylor and Oklahoma State. Louisville was his third visit out of five scheduled. Jones cancelled his final two visits to Kansas and Florida State.
Louisville is getting a good one in Jones. He averaged 18 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds as a freshman last season while leading NW Florida State to the National Championship game. Jones is the best junior college point guard in the country and will be ranked as the number one player in the country in the 2013 JUCO class when our JucoRecruiting.com Top 100 player rankings come out this Fall. He is a perfect fit for Rick Pitino and the Cardinals. Jones is not only highly skilled, but also one of the most competitive players in the country.
