Hutchinson Community College (#1 NJCAA D1) was able to move to 22-0 and hold off a good Seward team. Hutch was down 19-4 early in the first half, but was able to battle back throughout the first half and tie the game at 37 at half time. They pulled away late in the second half and pulled out a 87-74 win.

Vincennes (#2 NJCAA D1) beat Lewis and Clark CC 82-61 to move to 21-0.

Spartanburg Methodist (#3 NJCAA D1) won 61-51 over Aiken Tech to move to 22-0.

Coffeyville CC (#4 NJCAA D1) won their fourteenth game in a row with a 71-65  win over Kansas City (KS) CC.

Chris Jones and NW Florida State were clicking on all cylinders last night in a 99-64 win over Pensacola State. Jones, who signed with Louisville in November, had another big night with 32 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Elgin Cook (6-6/SF/2013/NW FL State) had TCU head coach Trent Johnson and an Arkansas assistant in to see him.

Chad Frazier’s (6-3/Gulf Coast State/2013) recruitment continues to pick up steam. He had South Carolina and TCU in to see him practice on Tuesday. Frazier has not narrowed down his list yet, but Washington, Texas A & M, Illinois and South Carolina  have been making a very strong push of late.
