He had an excellent two years for Williston State head coach Eric Peterson. He averaged. 20.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and  3 assists per game.  Curtis shot 51% from the floor, 37% from the 3pt line, and 65% from the FT line. He also uses screens very well and can catch and shoot quickly when coming off of a screen away from the ball. As a freshman he was named to the NJCAA 2nd Team All-American team (NJCAA D1) and was 2nd in the country in scoring at 22.4 points per game. Curtis broke the single season scoring record at Williston last year with 715 points and was also named conference MVP.
