Latest Junior College Basketball Team Rankings Released

Northwest Florida State has taken over the #1 spot

The latest NJCAA and California junior college men’s basketball rankings have been released and there has been some movement at the top of several of the polls. Here is a look at all four polls. 

NJCAA D1
Vincennes University has been the #1 ranked team in the country since the first NJCAA D1 poll was released October 27, 2014 and they are still undefeated (20-0), but they lost the top spot today when the latest NJCAA D1 poll was released. NW Florida State, led by head coach Steve Demeo, has taken over the top spot and is off to a 21-0 start.  The College of Southern Idaho is sitting at 23-0 and is currently ranked third in the country.

Kishwaukee College is sitting at the top spot again for the second week in a row and is followed by Louisburg at #2.

NJCAA D3
Defending NJCAA D3 National Champ, Rock Valley College, has been ranked #1 since the beginning of the season and this week is no different.  The CC of Philadelphia is sitting in the second spot for the second week in a row followed by Sullivan County.

California CC State Rankings
Fresno City College is the new #1 team in the latest California JC rankings. They took over the top spot from Saddleback College who recently dropped a game against Riverside CC. Mt. San Antonio has beaten Fresno City two times this season and is currently 19-1, but is sitting at #5 in the state.
