NCAA Coaches are recruiting Junior College Players more and more each year looking for players that are mature and that can be productive as soon as they step on campus. Freshman Qualifiers are attractive prospects for coaches because they have 3 years to play and have played a year of Junior College against better competition than HS. 6’6 F Jermaine Marshall of FL Southwestern is averaging 8.4 ppg and 8.5 rpg for the #2 team in the country. Marshall plays with motor and is versatile defender
6’6 F Jakorie Smith of East Miss CC is averaging 16.8 ppg and 8.3 rpg. Smith is versatile player that can score inside and out
6’1 G Angelo Stuart of Mineral Area CC is averaging 16.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg and 2.1 apg for a 20-1 team. The crafty guard scores it all levels
