JUCO Transfers To Watch In 20-21 - Part 2

Last season, over 350 Junior College players signed D1 scholarships. Junior College players bring with them experience, toughness, and the ability to produce right away. We have talked with hundreds of coaches over the last couple of weeks and look forward to seeing all the JUCO products playing at all levels. With the season starting tomorrow, JucoRecruiting.com looks at several JUCO Transfers to Watch in 20-21 season. Many of these players will be expected starters or rotation players to start the season. 

6’0 PG Justice Hill (Pictured) of Murray State – Hill started his career at Arkansas before transferring to Salt Lake CC. Last season, he helped Salt Lake to a Top 5 National Ranking (29-4 record) and was a NJCAA All American. He averaged 13.9 ppg and 4.2 apg. The super athletic guard can create for himself and get into the paint to create for teammates

6’3 PG Tae Hardy & 6’6 G Justin Johnson of Southern Miss – Hardy and Johnson are two talented Junior College players that bring scoring, size and playmaking to the guard positions for Southern Miss. Hardy started his career at East Carolina before transferring to Pearl River CC. Last season he helped Pearl River go a perfect 28-0 and #1 National Ranking. He averaged 16.6 ppg and 3.7 apg while shooting 37% from 3. Johnson spent two years at South GA Tech and has plenty of potential. Last season, he averaged 16.9 ppg and 5.8 rpg

6’1 G Shahada Wells of UT Arlington – Wells was one of the best scoring guards in Junior College last season for Tyler JC. Last season, wells averaged 21.6 ppg 6 apg and 5 rpg while shooting 47% from 3. He had several 30 point scoring games. He has the ability to play either guard spot. His scoring and playmaking should translate well to UT Arlington 

6’4 G D’Moi Hodge of Cleveland State – Hodge was one of the Top scorers in junior college over the past two years for State College of FL. He has confident player that can from all 3 levels. Last season, he averaged 25.2 ppg, 7.5 rpg and 5.1 apg while shooting 38% from 3 (9.2 attempts/game). His scoring and playmaking should translate well for Cleveland State

7’1 C Osborn Shema of Iona – Shema was one of the most intriguing prospects in all of Junior College last season for New Mexico Military. He was important JUCO signing for Head Coach Rick Pitino and staff. Last season, he averaged 10.6 ppg, 8.1 rpg and 2.9 bpg while also shooting 30% from 3. His length and shot blocking should translate well for Iona next season

6’6 F Tristan Ikpe (Blinn) - Sam Houston State
