Jamir Andrews, a 6’3 shooting guard out of Sheridan College in Wyoming, has given a verbal commitment to Bowling Green. Andrews was very impressive this summer at the All American JUCO Showcase Elite 80 camp in Las Vegas. He is a pure scorer who shoots the ball well from the perimeter. He is strong with the ball and has a frame built for the next level.
Last season Andrews averaged 12.1 points per game while shooting 42% from the field and 40% from the three point line. He made 80 threes on the season and will provide an immediate scoring presence on the perimeter for BGSU next season.
He had visits set to Albany and Washington State, but will not take those after committing to Bowling Green. Andrews visited BGSU this weekend.
